RDÉE Prince Edward Island (PEI) Inc. is the provincial francophone economic development council for the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Its mission is to contribute actively to entrepreneurial and community economic development within the Acadian and francophone community of Prince Edward Island, while collaborating with various partners toward the economic development of the province.
Established in 2011, the LIENS Project was created by RDÉE PEI and spans over several years in order to ensure that francophone economic immigration remains a top priority to grow the Acadian and francophone population in PEI over both the short and longer term. Given the success of the project to date, its mission was expanded until 2020 to continue its efforts in supporting francophone economic immigration as a fundamental economic development strategy in PEI.
LIENS is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the PEI Office of Immigration.
